Antuit seeks a Data Scientist to develop machine learning algorithms in Supply Chain and Forecasting domain with data science toolkits that include Python, R or SAS. This role is also participating in the design process and it is responsible for implementation. The ideal candidate will view the role as an excellent opportunity to master and support solving world-class data science problems.

 Data Scientist responsibilities and duties

  • Develop machine learning algorithms in Supply chain and Forecasting domain with data science toolkits that include Python, R or SAS
  • Further design processes and implement them
  • Research and develop efficient and robust machine learning algorithms
  • Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional Antuit teams and domain experts to identify gaps and structure problems

Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story, focused on insights, to communicate results and ideas to key decision makers at Antuit and client companies 

Data Scientist qualifications and skills

  • Experience / Education. Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Math or another related field. 3+ years’ work experience involving quantitative data analyses for problem solving (work experience negotiable for recent PhDs with relevant research experience). Experience working with cloud Big Data Stack to orchestrate data gathering, cleansing, preparation and modeling. Additional experience with forecasting and optimization problems; and implementing data analytics solutions with Python, R or SAS
  • Exceptionally skilled in machine learning, data analytics, pattern recognition and predictive modeling
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Effective communication and story-telling skills

Vice President, Sales

Antuit is hiring a Vice President, Sales to drive sales in the US for net-new and targeted accounts, as well as select existing relationships across Antuit’s key vertical sectors: CPG, retail, industrial and manufacturing. The Vice President, Sales is an individual contributor and responsible for carrying a target. The successful candidate will be able to identify client needs and match them to Antuit’s solution areas of pricing, sales & marketing, forecasting and digital supply chain.

Vice President, Sales responsibilities and duties

  • Oversee sales origination, qualification, solutioning, closure and relationship management
  • Work with solutions and delivery teams to develop compelling value propositions
  • Leverage personal senior level relationships and develop new ones with Fortune 1000 companies to generate new logo sales
  • Develop account strategies that respond to client concerns and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Antuit’s clients using analytics and available data to more effectively run their business
  • Represent Antuit at relevant conferences, tradeshows and industry forums

Vice President, Sales qualifications and skills

  • Experience / Education. 5+ years’ sales experience in retail, CPG or manufacturing analytics, ideally for a direct competitor of Antuit with 5+ years exceeding revenue targets. Experience building relationships with buyers at the C-level or operating level and selling complex multi-year engagements that help clients run their businesses more effectively. Prior experience working for a fast growing, sponsored business a plus
  • Strong domain expertise in one or several of Antuit’s priority sectors or solution areas. Ability to solution, provide thought leadership and influence delivery. Track record of helping shape business unit strategy, offering development and other commercial endeavors. Keen understanding of the analytics marketplace and how leading CPG, retail and manufacturing companies can optimize analytics to deliver tangible, sustainable business value. Seen as a trusted advisor by prospective clients

Data Architect
Bangalore, India

Antuit is hiring a Data Architect to support big data architecture and planning client engagements. This hands-on engineering position will provide technical guidance to a team of big data engineers building platforms and innovating in core areas of big data, real time analytics and large-scale data processing. The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast paced, startup environment for the last 2 or more years.

Data Architect responsibilities and duties

  • Project lead for strategic Antuit data engineering clients
  • Drive the architecture and design decisions needed to achieve cost-effective and high performance results
  • Mentor big data engineers in software development, technology and processes
  • Cultivate sustained innovation to deliver exceptional products to customers
  • Provide solutions for technical escalations that come to the engineering
  • Troubleshoot complex issues discovered in-house and in client environments
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and produce functional and design specifications for new proposed features 

Data Architect qualifications and skills

  • Experience / Education. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering with 9 years’ minimum work experience. 3 or more years’ experience designing and implementing big data processing pipelines with a combination of Spark, Scala, Kafka, and HBase. 6 or more years’ coding experience in Java, with solid CS fundamentals that include data structure and algorithm design, and the creation of architectural specifications. 6 or more years’ experience contributing to R&D and production deployments of large backend systems, with at least 3 or more years’ experience supporting big data use cases. Prior work implementing professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, documentation, build processes, automated testing and operations
  • Expertise handling Spark Ecosystems on Linux platform
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical communications
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment

Data Engineer

Antuit is hiring a Data Engineer in charge of services delivery on Data Engineering client engagements. A part of the Antuit project team, this mid-level hands-on engineering position designs, builds and operates big data platforms on behalf of customers and innovates in the core areas of big data, real time analytics and large-scale data processing. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to quickly learn new skills and keep pace with the dynamic world of open source data ingestion and processing tools. 

Data Engineer responsibilities and duties

  • Offshore services for Data Engineering clients
  • Help onsite Data Engineering team troubleshoot technical issues
  • Support lead Data Architects on projects, as needed

Data Engineer qualifications and skills

  • Experience / Education. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Engineering with 5 or more years in IT and 3 or more years’ experience with relational databases that run in Linux environments (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle). Background in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Scala or Python. Experience working on agile projects and strong knowledge of agile concepts (project burndown, story writing, JIRA, retrospectives, etc.) Background working with Linux operating systems; SQL and relational databases. Prior work with public clouds, like AWS or Azure, is helpful
  • Knowledge. Comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of data processing. Understanding of Hadoop, Spark and related open source tools is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical communications
  • Can achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment
  • Energy and enthusiasm. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
