Antuit is hiring a developer with experience designing API frameworks to work closely with Antuit data engineering teams to create reusable APIs for clients. This is a client-facing role delivering services as part of an Antuit project team. 

The API Designer will be responsible for designing and building a family of APIs to support data access methods for client projects. He or she will also be responsible for overseeing API development efforts of other members of the project team. 

The successful candidate will also have a background in data engineering or experience creating APIs that interact with databases and data integration tools including ETL tools, streaming data frameworks like Kafka or message queues.

Antuit is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer responsible for major and incremental architectural improvements to Big Data platform. You will also deploy, schedule, monitor and support ETL/modeling/CI-CD workflows. The successful candidate is a hands-on cloud platform engineer with experience standing up and administrating cloud-based data platforms.

Senior Platform Engineer qualifications & skills

  • Experience / Education. Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 8+ years in IT. 5+ years in systems / cloud administration. 2+ years with build technologies and tools like AWS CloudFormation, Ansible & Terraform. Experience working on agile projects with an understanding of agile concepts (project burndown, story writing, JIRA, retrospectives, etc.). AWS certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator/DevOps Engineer certifications preferred. Must have understanding of Hadoop ecosystem, including Spark and Kafka. Experience administering container management systems like Kubernetes, Mesos, AWS ECS or Azure AKS.
